Starting again

The first time I started a blog, I was 12. It was 2008 and I was embarrassed to tell anyone about it. Every weekend, I’d steal my parents’ digital camera or grab a disposable, and take pictures. I’d take pictures of myself, the sky, the food I ate… Whatever was around me, whatever I felt was necessary for me to capture and put online.

I don’t know why I’ve always felt the need to document my life and share it on the internet. But for some reason, it feels important to me. I’ve deleted and re-started a blog almost every year since 2008. And maybe I’ll continue that cycle forever. But for now, with the way the internet is going, I’m feeling nostalgic about 2008. When the only sense of online community I could get was by commenting on Swedish bloggers’ Blogspots. So I’m starting this again.

A blog dedicated to whatever I feel is necessary for me to capture and put online.
